My name is Ben Sykes. In 2022, I earned my Bachelors degree in Computer Science with Honours from Sheridan College.

Currently, I am working as a Technical Advisor at Statistics Canada on the Cloud Native Solutions (CNS) team. CNS is a modernization initiative part of the larger Cloud Services Enablement Project (CSEP) in the Government of Canada.

We investigate, design, develop and operate modern infrastructure systems powered by cloud-first designs and open source software that enables solution builders/project teams to develop, deploy, and operate applications in a secure, flexible, scalable and interoperable fashion.
